Book Binding
This project hasn’t been started yet! One of my original goals with each of these book projects was to re-bind the book with a custom binding. I’ve never bound a book before, so on this first one I’ll be incorporating a new skill. I also didn’t realize that the Monk and Robot series were only available in hardcover, so I may change my mind on this one and instead create a casing. I did pick up some exciting wood papers and a beautiful green fabric from some of my local haunts. Stay tuned to see what I end up doing with them!
Exploring the Process
I have never created my own book binding before, so in this exploration it will be important for me to do one or more small projects to learn the skill before jumping into the full project. This is where I’ll document that process.
